This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to the services provided by CheckAlt, LLC and its subsidiaries (“CheckAlt”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including but not limited to KliknPay™, Klik Remit™, Catch!™, RemitStation™ and DepositGo, and offered through CheckAlt’s offices and/or websites. This Policy applies to nonpublic personal information received from consumers (e.g., our business clients’ customers) for personal, family, and household purposes (“Personal Information”), such as protected financial or health information. Protecting your privacy is very important to us, and we work diligently to safeguard your privacy. We will use your information only in accordance with the terms of this Policy. If you decide to close your account or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this Policy. What Information We Collect

              • Information which we receive from you when you register and use our websites.
          • If you log in to a different portal that is linked to our site, such as one provided by the business to which your payments are to be made (your “Service Company”), certain Personal Information may be passed to us.

It also includes information that we need to make payments on your behalf, such as your Service Company, and Service Company unit identifier (account number); your debit/credit card number(s) and CVV codes; and the dates and amounts of your payments.

We do not disclose any Personal Information about our clients’ customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. We are permitted by law to share information about our experiences or transactions with you or your account with companies related to us by common control or ownership. We may disclose Personal Information about you to third parties that provide services to us or to complete transactions you have requested. Your payment and bank or credit card account number(s) will be sent through intermediaries, such as the Automated Clearing House Network and the Visa/Mastercard clearing houses services to complete your payment transaction. We may also disclose your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations and protect against fraud and other risk control purposes. We may be required to disclose your Personal Information to comply with certain legal processes, such as a court order, subpoena, or search warrant. In the event of a potential sale or other change of control of CheckAlt, in whole or in part, we will only disclose your Personal Information if necessary and then subject to written confidentiality commitments.

 

Your Personal Information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, unless you have requested us to do so.

 

Where We Store and Process Data

We store and process data in the United States. Wherever we store or process personal data pursuant to this Policy, we take measures designed to ensure that the data is processed in accordance with this Policy and in compliance with applicable law.

Transmissions over the Internet are never 100% secure or error-free. However, we take reasonable steps to protect your data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. It is your responsibility to safeguard your passwords and User IDs and to notify us using one of the contact methods listed below if you ever suspect that your password or User ID for one of our products or services has been compromised. You are solely responsible for any unauthorized use of our products or services conducted using your password and User ID.

 

Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for adults. We do not intentionally or knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children as defined by applicable law and we request that children not submit any personal data to us.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Policy at any time, but will alert you that changes have been made by indicating on the Policy the date it was last updated. Our Websites

Non-Identifiable Information – Our servers track information given to us by your browser such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, Internet Service Provider (ISP), browser types, web pages visited, and time visiting our site. This information is used for internal measurements about our site and its usage.
