Peter Hickman is Head of National Operations for the Klik division of CheckAlt. An 11-year veteran of CheckAlt-Klik, Mr. Hickman oversees approximately 200 CheckAlt employees including staff at each of CheckAlt’s 14 lockbox processing sites across the U.S. and CheckAlt-Klik’s Customer Success department. He is responsible for managing and improving the quality of product implementation.
In fostering relationships with banks and customers with technical sales support, Mr. Hickman provides his operations expertise to ensure CheckAlt’s products and services match the clients’ needs. Prior to CheckAlt, Mr. Hickman served as Director of Operations for HomeAgain LLC, a subsidiary of Merck Co. HomeAgain became a customer of Klik in 2005, using Klik to process subscription payments for pet services. In his role with HomeAgain, Mr. Hickman oversaw management of services to approximately 10 million pet owners including delivering 24/7 phone support for lost-found pets and other value-added services like ASPCA medical calls and pet insurance.
Mr. Hickman also spent 11 years at Hewlett-Packard in process development and operations management roles. Mr. Hickman holds engineering degrees from MIT and University of Michigan, and he has taken courses in lean operations management and Six Sigma process improvement.
