In his 17 years at CheckAlt, Lou DiLeo has brought his passion, positivity, and can-do attitude to work every day. His smile is infectious. As VP of Operations and Remittance Processing for CheckAlt’s nationwide network of payment processing centers, he goes the extra mile for CheckAlt's clients and brings team members across departments together to ensure clients have an excellent experience.

CheckAlt is a village of professionals that come from very diverse backgrounds, working toward creating a company that is inclusive and connected through a shared vision. Great ideas are born when you put those ingredients together, explained CheckAlt’s Catch! Business Leader Rebecca Anthony, who joined CheckAlt in 2020.

“At CheckAlt, every opportunity is a teaching moment,” according to CheckAlt’s Controller Martin Tollinsky, who has been with CheckAlt since 2017. “We create great employees who feel they have the ability and wherewithal to actually make and affect change in the organization, and be positive influences within the organization.”

More than 50% of the executives at CheckAlt are women, and our Transformation Management Committee is chaired by and made up of women leaders. “That was something really inspiring to me, and I wanted to be part of that movement,” said Jackie Taqué, CheckAlt’s EVP of Credit Union Relationships since 2019.

The talent we have attracted at CheckAlt are entrepreneurial minded, have a positive attitude, and are driven to contribute their experience to help CheckAlt get to the next milestone in our journey as a payments solutions provider. As Kristina Rogers, CheckAlt’s Operations Manager since 2019, put it, “It really is exciting to see that we are on the forefront of breaking ground in new payment solutions.”

CheckAlt's focus on building strong relationships internally with employees and externally with clients includes utilizing the unique skillsets and backgrounds across the team to push the organization forward. “With diversity comes different ideas, different beliefs, different work patterns,” said CheckAlt’s CTO Ram Bajaj, who joined in 2019. “You need that.”

The CheckAlt team continues to grow in all areas of the business and is actively seeking talent. “If being able to interact with several other departments, and being able to be in charge of change management for your team is something that excites you,” Taqué shared, “the opportunities are endless here at CheckAlt.”
