Remote Deposit Capture: Scan to Deposit in Just Three Steps

With our software, you can scan up to 250 checks at a time, front-to-back. CheckAlt RDC is PC-based and works with most scanners, including Paninis (for a full list of compatible scanners, click here). We utilize Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) combined with the power of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to pull routing and account numbers, check number, and check amount. Once you verify all these amounts, you’re one click away from completion—we do the rest! We consolidate your deposit file and send it to The Federal Reserve Banks or your deposit bank for clearing. Within as little as 12 hours, the funds get deposited to your account.

Easy Reporting

Our extensive reporting and archiving is available locally via your workstation if you are operating in a stand-alone environment. If you are operating in a network environment, reporting and archiving can be set up to be made available either locally or enterprise-wide, depending on your business requirements. Specify a range of items and generate a printable report, or save as a PDF. Also review the check image archive, whenever you need it.

Process Pay Stubs with your Checks at the Same Time

Our software can read both checks and remittance stubs when scanned together. Process up to six items as a unit, storing them in a digital “envelope”. Refer to specific envelopes later in the desktop lockbox.

Clients have the option of adding on check verification with Intuit’s trusted National Check Deposit Network (NCN), one of the premier check payment services in the nation offering one of the largest databases of check information. The service allows clients to gain real-time authorization at the point of sale.

Process image inclearing checks and return files from The Federal Reserve Banks. Generate the output for your core item processor right from your desktop lockbox. With one click, you can generate an image return cash letter and send to the Federal Reserve Banks.

Security is Our Priority

Our secure servers consolidate and encrypt your deposit files to X.9 format and send them to your deposit bank(s) or The Federal Reserve Banks using a secure connection (SSL processing). We also have a firewall in place and monitor any unauthorized access attempts. Please note that the CheckAlt Payment Solutions team at no point touches any of your funds. Additionally, we have been audited by Weiser LLP and have been found to meet SAS70 level 1 compliance standards.
