Basic accounts are for individuals and businesses wishing to make payments using CheckAlt. Note, you do not need to have an account on CheckAlt to make a payment, but having an account would allow you store your information so that you do not have to enter it each time you wish to make a payment.

Merchant accounts are for businesses wishing to offer e-Check or ACH payment option to their clients. It has all the features of the basic account, plus invoicing and reporting modules included.
